Friday afternoon saw the Warriors facing off against Calvary Christian School again. The previous time that these two met was at the beginning of the season at the WACS Tipoff Tournament, where Calvary beat the Warriors 31-29. However, this time the Warriors were playing without their biggest player, Jonathan Hatchett, who was out with a broken foot. The Warriors started out cold the first half, scoring two points in the first quarter, and four in the second, coming to a total of six points at the half. They only allowed 15 points in the first half, but it was still a defficit that they would never overcome. They ended up losing 47-26, with Daniel Fuller scoring 17 of the 26, with several baskets coming in the closing minutes of the game. It was a disappointing loss.

The Warriors were then poised to take on the Liberty Eagels for 3rd place. This was the third consecutive season that ended with a battle for 3rd place with the Eagles. This was also the second time in three years that the game was sent to overtime. The Warriors once again prevailed, and won with a final score 36-32. Senior, Tim Bellrichard, came up with a couple of key rebounds, baskets, and an important block at the end of the 4th quarter and overtime to seal the game. Jason Curtis led the team in scoring in the deciding game with 14 points.

Daniel Fuller was voted to the all-tournament team by the Sports Management staff of MBU. The boys made great strides throughout the season and finished with a very nice 13-7 record. Timmy Vander Pluym and Daniel Fuller were voted to the all-state team by the opposing coaches.
