Despite several injuries the Warriors finished 2nd place at the Wyldewood classic. The boys took care of business in the first game winning 75-31, however, Timmy Vanderpluym went down with an ankle injury in the third quarter. The Warriors advanced to the second round to take on the host team, also the Warriors. After a low scoring first half, both teams headed to the locker room with the KMBA Warriors ahead by only 4. Early in the 3rd quarter Jonathan Hatchett went down with a foot injury (later we learned that his foot was broken) but returned quickly, however, he was not able to make it up and down the floor so he stayed back on the other side of the court on defense. Playing 4 on 5 the Warriors still managed to put the game away eventually winning by 17. The championship game against the Janesville Royals proved to be a challenge. After being down 29-7 at the end of the first quarter, the Warriors came back to cut the lead to four in the 3rd quarter. Eventually the loss of two starters and the skill and size of the other team proved superior and the final score was 62-37.
