The KMBA boys basketball team traveled to Lake Mills Saturday evening to take on the Jefferson County Hawks. The first half was a shootout with the Hawks taking a 30-25 lead at the break. The Warriors came out with a new level of intensity in the second half, and were able to hold the eagles to twelve second half points. With 12.0 seconds left the Warriors were up five points, and fouled an Hawk shooter on a three point attempt. In addition, a technical foul was assessed to the Warrior bench for clapping during a free-throw. The Hawks were only able to convert 2/5 from the line, and the Warriors held for one more defensive stance to come away with the win. Timmy VanderPluym led the KMBA scorers with 15 points.

The Junior High game also proved to be an exciting match up. The Warriors were ahead most of the game, but the Hawks were able to tie the game at the end of regulation to force it into overtime. In overtime Jonathan Fuller hit a floater from the middle of the lane as time expired to win the game 21-19.
